The Petrified Forest is to the far northeast from Phoenix, the opposite direction we went. It's up near the Window Rock area, near the Painted Desert, in a much higher elevation level. I'm going to say it's around 250 miles from Phoenix.

If you will have the Jeep while in Scottsdale, hit me up and ill send you (or join you) on some cool local spots. You can see in my youtube link a few places that are a short 20-30 min drive from me. Table Mesa, New river and tonto vids are all very close. heres the link.

I installed new XenonDepot LED DRL lamps yesterday...the no-name type I bought before knowing any better were just plain unreliable. Also put in a Jeep rubber cargo mat recently...the chrome strips were starting to get beat up from some of the things I've had to haul lately.

Hey Jim, how challenging is it to change the links? Does this affect the ride comfort at all?

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

After taking the dog out to the park I decided to clean my air filter on my volant.Took it off , cleaned it all up nice and clean , did a light re oil of it and put it back together.

In the next few weeks hoping to pick up a few little items and get a bit of free time to put them in.

No challenge at all to change them...technically "tool-less" install, although I used a pair of off-set pliers to asset with snapping the links onto the top-front balls because of a finger strength issue I have. Per James's recommendation, I put my JGC in OR-II height. The fronts are directly accessible over top of the tire. The rears do require you to lie down to get to them as they are just in front of the rear axil. I put a tarp down when I did that since my driveway is stone...and we don't garage our vehicles.

No noticeable change in ride comfort for me. I think it would degrade quickly if one tried to exceed the one inch lowering by much, however...

Will this work for a 2011?

AFAIK, yes. James did mention that there appears to be a change required for MY16, but MY11-15 all should work with the measurements he came up with. Please visit the thread in Suspension/Drivetrain/Tires above.
