The 1st thing to change will be the Michelin LRR tires to the ones You have, for much better off roading grip ! Let us know if any "Issues" - got that New RECALL going, S28, on This new shifter/ trans. wire harness crimp problem- vehicles built between 15 May 2015 and 19 Feb. 2016 !
My build date is (supposedly) later (11 - 15 April) so got my fingers crossed !
Thanks. I did look at the Laredo a lot too, but coming from a Wrangler I really wanted that panoramic sunroof to make up for not being able to put the top down. I went for the Limited with Luxury Package, ORA2, and Nav. Very pleased and I've had zero issues so far! As for the recall, mine was built after that so shouldn't be an problem.

2016 Summit Diesel- added silver trail rated badge, sill plate protectors, cargo net (for some reason I didn't get one), Fumoto valve and CB Radio.

Going to do tires soon. Sorry to see the Silent Armor tires have been discontinued.

Looking at KO2's or Duratracs.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

It had been siting in the sun and after driving the hood was hot. So for the front JEEP I started with floss and eventually just pulled the whole letter after I got about half way through it. Same for the doors. You can use mineral spirits or goo gone on the adhesive, along with a plastic scraper. I used Tarminator and a microfiber, it worked pretty well to loosen it and get most of it off. Then washed after to get those chemicals off.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Just added a K&N CAI intake to my 2012 5.7l WK2 to finally complete my intake and exhaust set up. (yes, it's filthy. I live on a dirt road so it's very difficult to keep it clean)

1 7/8" x 3" American Racing headers, 2 1/2" Corsa cat back exhaust

What did you do to your WK2 today?

Not today, but finally towed my boat at high speed and launched/loaded. Honestly, it does as well as my prior 2012 Infiniti QX56, and much better than my 2010 QX56. Boat was fully loaded, so the load was about 6,000 lbs. Acceleration is great, and no concerns with braking--the trailer brakes make it nearly effortless. Funny how I've found uses for the adjustable suspension with towing, where I previously experienced frustrations with other vehicles.

I'm lovin this Jeep so far after 7 months and 11k miles.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Bought new headlights. Picked these up dirt cheap off craigslist. One is damaged but the guy said all lights works. Bottom broken tabs and missing plastic honeycomb trim piece. But too cheap to pass up. Gonna need a harness to make them work on my '14 Limited.
