Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Fitted two bolts, washers and nyloc nuts after Jeep installed my new Mopar tow hitch. Just thought it maybe a little better to use bolts to reattach the rear bumper trim to the new tow hitch frame rather than use Jeeps cable ties. Apparently numerous bolts have been falling out, so cable ties are the 2016 engineering solution. HmmmmmmmmImageUploadedByJeepGarage1464662156.856353.jpg

Looks good! Was it hard to remove the bottom section of your bumper? Do you have a write up?

7 turn knobs on the inside of the lower fascia. All can be turned by hand. Hold the bumper from the front and pull straight away from the Jeep. Position clips pull away from upper bumper and done. Seriously 2 minutes, if that. Easy as pie.

No wrote up but here is a big thread in the Tips/Do It Yourself forum. Should be near the top (Tow Hook Install). Lots of tips and some info on pulling the lower fascia.
