A question. What are the square bumps on the bumper of this 2013 overland right under the headlights?

I think you forgot to read the part that said these were 3 weeks old. The wheels I pulled off with 6k miles don't have that much damage and you can easily tell these aren't rock chips.

I guess this is road damage too right? Doesnt have anything to do with them sanding the hub before installing the wheel right?

Discount tire is paying for the re-coating but this is extremely frustrating.
Especially since this isn't the first set they've damaged. This will be my last transaction with them.

Why did I have all 4 changed? ...because I had to send them all back to the vendor for credit.

Sorry to see that I have been there also more than once. Looks like a lazy careless tech bouncing an air ratchet around, prying the centers with a screw driver and the higher marks probably just letting the wheel fall over face first on tools or metal on the lift next to it. I have found tire places to be very hit or miss over the years regardless of the name plate on the building its all about the individual location managers and the type of techs they let in the door. People are people and every once in a while even good techs make mistakes but you have multiple examples there of damage that in my opinion can be attributed to a lazy careless tech.

My best experience a few years ago which was either a Discount tire or NTB I don't remember at this point but they put two of four directional tires on backwards, told me the wheel weights from the factory had to stay on there because they were from the factory and no balancing needed and badly mutilated the face of two of the rims. I had a fun meeting with the regional manager on that one. Surprisingly my jeep dealer is my go to place for tire work on this jeep as they seem to be the only place around to take the time to get these 20s balanced properly. That will work until they get some uncaring manager in there and the group will go downhill. Word of mouth recommendations have more meaning to me for this type work not name plates on buildings. Hope they get that worked out for you and ream the tech that did it

Not busting your balls but you didnt show that before. Kind of odd place even for something to rub constantly.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Wow @MOFTEEL....that's always my fear with tire shops, inexperienced operators on those machines. My dad had a couple brand new wheels screwed up by 4wd store in OH last year, luckily they ordered him new ones since they kept screwing up. Glad to hear they're covering the repowder of your wheels, are they doing the brembos too? Still sucks, I hate time wasted because of screw ups

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

I finally installed my SRT8 Coil springs on all 4 corners. Removed rear load leveling shocks and installed standard shocks. Lowered more than I thought. About 2" in the rear and 1" or so in the front. Drives way different. Alot firmer, but not like driving on lowered coils like Eibach.

Nice stance and a great looking overall package.
