Installed dash camera and wired it to overhead console. I followed a DIY guide from another user. Super easy project.

I had to relocate my dash can lower as the mirror duct blocked some side view. My cam has a wide 158 degree lens.

I feel you. Luckily this camera has a 170 degree FOV so that wasn't an issue for me. Now, dash reflections on the other hand...

I had them powder coated gloss black on my Limited - Cost $40? I think it was. They can be taken on/off in 10min or so. Came out looking awesome and helped for the black out look I was going for at the time. Excuse the crappy picture, but you get the idea!

I got quoted over $200 because the shop was convinced they had a clearcoat that needed to be stripped off first.

Did some interior led work and also forgot to post the reverse leds

With the 2016 the map light and rear reading lights all are on that little board. I'll get busy on that when I have some time

I'd find another shop. Powder coating In itself is not an overly expensive process; esp for the small rails. If there was a clear coat on it, my guy went right on over it, with no mention or issues. I had mine on for about 8 months in the Texas sun and they were flawless: no fading, chipping, cracking etc.

Had the same guys do my exhaust tips in gloss black for like $50 also

I wrapped mine, took about half an hour.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Picked up my wife's WK2 Overland Ecodiesel at the vehicle processing center in Aviano Italy. We are active duty military and sent the vehicle out of Seattle WA and it took 2 months exactly. It's sure nice to have your own vehicle to drive around Europe. Here's to some new adventures with the Jeep.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Finally finished taking off the badges. Left the Summit. Want to do something with the rear Jeep logo but don't know what, yet.

Much easier to keep clean and pretty without those dang towel catchers just waiting to murder my nice towels.
