I've been trying to research these because of the connections. I have the stock projectors and all the connections look like they would be plug n play with the exception of the headlamp leveling motor.

Thats the only one I cant tell if the connection is the same because the little motor housing looks different.

Was yours the same as the stock? I looked at the headlights that you bought and they have the exact headlight leveling motor as the ones I want.

I attached a pic of what i'm talking about.

Thanks man.

On the lights I bought the only connections that plugged right in were the blinkers and high beams.

I had to get creative with wiring on the HID'S and running light strip.

The little leveling motor housing was not powered...it's actually the manual adjustment for aiming the lights far as I can tell. Have yet to adjust the lights for level since I haven't gotten flashed by oncoming drivers yet so they must not be to high.

I will say the cutoff line in these is razor sharp...more so than the stock hid's.

Not quite as bright but close. More of an led color emitted than hid if that makes sense.

I had a wrangler with Trucklite LED headlights and these are very similar.

I toyed with rigging the factory hid bulbs and ballasts to see what it does. But not in a hurry as these are pretty bright. They also project more to the sides and farther in front. It's weird..not quite as bright but they throw the light wider and farther?

I may just pick up a retrofit hid kit from one of the vendors and try that if I get bored.

Thanks for the replay. So the little motor is manual. Not a big deal i suppose. I"ll pull the trigger at some point. Not in a rush right now. I just ordered some Osram bulbs. My stock cutoff line is not the best either.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Added a custom made heavy duty tow eye to my 2016 Summit.

Disappointingly, the Summit front end does not have tow hook cutouts. Some people have cut their own openings to use the Mopar hooks.

The 2016 has an access door for a light duty tow eye, but it is not available from Mopar in the US (I tried multiple times). Even if it was, it is pretty wimpy to use for recovery.

ohiodieselparts@gmail.com is now making a heavy duty tow eye that fits in the little door on the Summit. It is available in powder coated black steel or stainless steel. Riley at ohiodieselparts said he will be putting these up on Amazon eventually.

Raise the GC to max. height. It only requires removal of three 10mm screws at the RH bottom bumper and splashguard and removal of the quarter turn fasteners under the bumper to get sufficient access to bolt the tow eye in. Use masking tape to hold the tow eye and spacer block together to simplify alignment of the bolt holes as you insert the tow eye from the front.

Very pleased with the results !

[QUOTE="JPSch;1326895"]That sounds great! Throw some headers and an intake on it too and it can sound like mine. Here's a quick drive by video I had a friend film a while back. I ran out of road quick as I was cut off so I had to let off the gas.

I have added Mopar CAI, have you tested h.p. on a Dyno yet?

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Added NAVIKS and (2) headrest monitors. Had to use a couple resistors in headrest connectors to turn airbag light off. EZPZ.

Just making sure you know that the seat headrests are what's called "an active head restraint". They actually pop forward to help reduce the effects of whiplash. I know this for a fact as they employed on my sisters 2014 WK2 when I was in an accident about 3 months ago. When you removed the original headrests that's why the airbag light came on. I have headrest mounted tvs but they clip on to the original headrest posts thus leaving the OEM headrests in tact for accident purposes.

The install does look clean and I bet your rear seat passengers will enjoy the screens.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Yes well aware of what an active head rest is, which is why I used the resistors.

I personally did not want the clip on style units, but each his own.

Thanks
