Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

So I found out that Adams Polishes (preferred vendor) is located just north of Denver and I decided to make a trip up and see the national headquarters.

To say the least I had an amazing top notch experience with a full tour of the operation along with a thorough explanation or each product. I wish there was a way to express in words the quality of customer service that I received but with my limited writing skills I won't come close so I'm not going to try. I will let the amount of product purchased speak for my satisfaction with Adams Polishes.

This is my new arsenal for detailing the jeep!!

This afternoon I took the first run with the new products and here is out come. Its amazing how therapeutic detailing your vehicle can be.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

I got hit and run in a parking lot and had a minor scratch (about 2 feet long alongside my passenger door). I had to take care of it since my car is less than 3 weeks old!

edit: i took the most ambiguous and reflective picture to trick you.

Installed new rotors and pads front and rear. Easy swap on this truck. No surprises like my wife's Flex that needed a special tool to push the rear pistons back into the caliber.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Installed the VisualGarage Shark Fin Antenna to my 2011! AM, FM, Sirius, and GPS all work at least as well as the stock whip antenna in a driveway test. Will need to do some drive testing, including a known dead spot.

Installation was very simple, fast, and it matches the 4-year old paint well.

Hey WK2 Rover....did you buy it directly from Visual Garage or somewhere else? Also, is the tape/glue used good quality?

Hopped out of the Jeep to check if a store was open. Thought i had placed it in park, but instead it was reverse. Before i knew it i was wedged between the driver door and a stair case banister in what can only be described as a freak accident.

Luckily my wife was there to stop the jeep and unpin me.
I really thought I had this electronic shifter down. Guess not. Lesson learned.

Caused 2500.00 damage to the GC
