Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Hubs put on my shiny new black mirror caps and my new black A pillars. Super happy with the change!

Ok, so technically I personally didn't do anything to my WK2....but I supervised

I'm picking up a set of Mopar cross bars from the dealer and I ordered a Thule cargo box. Today's deliveries should include a Travall dog barrier, Cargoliner Ultimate liner, WeatherTech mats and a Tekonsha brake controller cable.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Played in the mud a bit on the way home from work now that things are thawing. Not super deep since I was by myself. Probably about up to the rocker panels at the deepest spot. The more interesting thing is who I met while doing it. This is in a field that also had a hug mound built up. Could probably fit 20-30 cars parked on it. It was more clay like. There were a couple kids, probably late teens sitting up there. After I went up I noticed they were stuck. Not a very good idea to play in the dirt with an Oldsmobile sedan. I offered to pull them out but they couldn't see a spot to pull. Seeing as I was in my work clothes I wasn't about to start getting in the mud to find a spot. I left them trying to stack rocks on the wheels to get out. The front right frame was touching the ground.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Installed the Mopar Pet/Cargo Barrier. The instruction for one of the brackets was wrong. I made my own rivet tool using a socket head cap screw and a flange nut. Dropping the headliner is the only pain.

The barrier is nice and sturdy.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Applied Griots Leather Presever to the front seats, doors, and dash. Will do the rear area later.
