You know I was going to do it all at once, but the SO said I would be single if I spent another dime on my new Jeep... she's a little upset I got the roof rack at all! Guess I'll need to wait until things blow over hahaha

Fortunately my wife likes to mod our jeeps as much as I do.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

In our house I usually see something I want...buy it...then tell hubs what he needs to install for me. Such as today when I informed him that this weekend he would be installing the new bushwackers I bought.

He usually just gives a shrug and asks for the instructions so he can be prepared for whatever needs installing, he's always so agreeable. Although he did grumble for awhile after the rock rail install, LOL.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

2string I really like the hood decal. I thought about getting the mopar one that says jeep on it. But have heard that one is a pita to remove. Did you put it on yourself.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

No I had them install it $239 installed. (Yipes Stripes) Yes the mopar one comes off real hard. That's why I went with the 3M vinyl. I was going to have them cut out the letters Hemi, but decided nothing would be best for me. It would have been the same price with any word cut out...

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Could you have gotten it in high gloss, if you so desired?

Sure and any color you want... They told me you can peel it off within a 3 year period... The only thing I'm worried about is wiping the snow off in the winter. Can scratch pretty easy...

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

One thing you have to watch out for with using the gloss on the hood vs matte or satin is the sun glare. Could turn out to be a problem in a very sunny region. Just something to think about.
