We had Pete at Canvasback cut access holes for the front D ring/tie down points so no cutting was necessary. I would highly recommend both, especially if you travel with your pets.
That looks great, I'm going to follow suit!

Had another "de-pollination" session and then had my daughter clean out the inside.

Not much at all...it "sticks". Hence, the reference to the car wash...

LOL... my white Accord looked like it had green apple tint applied.

The pollen itself isn't sticky... it stays on due to static cling more than anything.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

My problem usually isn't pollen since I generally ride the motorcycle on nice days (and I keep it covered at work where it's not garaged.

My problem is on rainy days when I drive the Jeep and all the flowering trees drop their blossoms on it. The landscapers at work love those flowering trees....cherry, crab apple, dogwood....

Thank goodness I don't still live at my last apartment, though.

Someone in their infinite wisdom thought bordering the lot with various berry bushes and fruit bearing trees was a great idea. So, not only did the trees drop these giant purple berries on the cars, but the birds would eat the various berries from the bushes. Then...you guessed it...hey would perch in the trees and crap on the cars, all the while knocking off more berries on the cars.

My last truck often looked like it had the measles from the purple and white spots all over it.

I'm so very glad to have a garage now.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Played in the mud. Parked off to the side of a store and the wife ran in quick. Was only going to be about 10 minutes and we had the baby in the car. Well she started fussing because the car stopped. I knew there was a dirt field next to the building and there's been a lot of rain the last few days. Went and did a bunch of doughnuts and such and came back to park in the same spot. Wife came back out about a minute later and stopped once she noticed what I did. Just shook her head at me and got back in.

Wife: I was barely gone for 10 minutes!
me: It was a fun 10 minutes
