It's vinyl wrapped. A local shop did it.

A little place in Houston TX called
http://www.texastrucktire.com/ good guys to work with.

Not sure they have any SRT take-offs in stock right now as I took the only set, but I'm sure if you call and ask them to find you some they might be able to help.

Ask for Robert.

Edit: they will do shipping.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Got my JW Speaker fog lights in the mail. Unfortunately they didn't ship the wire adapter so I'm going to have to wait to install them.

I also ordered the Taillight Solutions rear fog light kit and going to install it at the same time as my headlights.

Just in being a passenger I liked it. Good space and comfy and some nice goodies for the price. Then 4 hours later she got a Hyundai salesman to dump the price on a Touscon and buy that. Oh well.

They aren't OEM, but half the price (around $40). The result is, the type faces don't match the vehicle lettering perfectly, but it's close enough and they won't appear in direct view of each other.

They stick on with the same 3M tape that some of the Jeep decorations attach with.

I had to very slightly bend the rear door covers in order to place them exactly where I wanted them due to the curve of the sill. They're kind of small, but should still serve their purpose. Some of the reviewers actually mention the size as a negative, but overall people seem happy with them. It would be nice if they had been built to fit the curve so they could be longer.

The fronts went on without any modification.

I ordered them delivered directly from the factory in China, so they took about 3 weeks to arrive. The packing looked a bit sketchy, but it held up well and protected the guards. The were individually bagged and packed inside a block of foam that was then wrapped completely with tape for shipping. I did have to buff out a few marks from the plastic bags rubbing on them, though. The marks came out with little effort.

So far, I'm happy with them. We'll see how they hold up long term:

Network,

I just checked my mail, and my sill guards came yesterday on the slow boat. They appear to be identical to yours. It took me 20 minutes to cut through all the plastic wrapping, Styrofoam, and tape.

Did yours come with 3, 1/4" wide pieces of 3M Peel & Stick tape? Mine have 2 strips on the flat area, and 1 on the inside of the radius edge.
