It also shows my area code trade price at MSRP given how few Overlands have been delivered here relative to Laredo and Limiteds.

True, however I dont think its updated to show the tech package, saddle interior etc...

That is correct, plus they still show late availability for QDII and Offroad II. It's more of a guideline to invoice for those that can't get a dealer to show the goods, or explain the goods.

Is there going to be an upcharge for saddle interior?

250 bucks I believe for the Saddle Interior.

Perhaps, but that isn't putting anything other than a trickle of Overlands in customers hands or dealer lots just yet. That's not necessarily a bad thing other than short term price premiums on the O's.

Props to Jeep for squaring away whatever challenges may have cropped up: shudder, QL, option packages, and late issues. Looks like they are doing the right thing IMO.

I think it's just expected demand vs. actual demand. In the past, Jeep never had that many takers of the Overland trim level. I just never really see Overlands of previous generations. They probably didn't expect people to be clamoring for them. This demand is because of the extremely narrow price gaps between trims; put anything on a Laredo X, you're at a Limited. Put anything on a Limited, you're at an Overland. If they had priced the Overland up another couple grand, a bunch of us would likely have decided Quadra-Lift wasn't that big a deal and just have opted for a Limited.

Because of the high demand, and the late availability compounded by the early September shipping delay, the Overlands coming in are almost entirely spoken for- if they weren't special orders to begin with, they were likely taken before they hit the lot. High demand + low supply = higher prices. But "limited production?" Not even close- Jeep will make as many of these as they can, and they'll try to make as many as they can conceivably sell. Limited production means they said there's only going to be, say, 2000 of them. Oh hell no, they're cranking them out, there's just that many buyers.

I was offered Invioce + $500, then used our military discount (offered by Chrysler) to get another $500 off. All said and done we paid exactly invoice.

Actually, that's a brilliant idea JH.

I'm going to send that hilarious photo and this poll to every one of the internet sales managers in our area to try and disarm them into better terms.
