Re: What did you pay for Overland model with Quadra-lift

I got an offer for a Summit Edition, 4X4, Hemi, Rugged brown.
For $44,712.50. that does not include taxes ect. But it does include the $780 freight fee as well as a $250 processing fee.
I got it through a military buying program, they beat the TL 1% below invoice offer by $300 and I got a $500 rebate. If any other rebates become available between now and when I pick it up they will honor those rebates as well.
They told me it would be ready by the April 2nd, when arrive back in the states.

The MSRP is $48,990

Interesting. The % for MSRP and invoice does not match what my Overland was;
MSRP $44,910
Invoice $42,000
Paid $40,165 + Tax, Tags (transfer) but no program fee

Re: What did you pay for Overland model with Quadra-lift

Too much. Then again, I think I pay too much for everything I buy. (I think it was $1500 below MSRP) Honestly, thought it was a fair price for this vehicle. But I did get beat up on the trade-in. Did manage to get 15% off all accessories if that means anything. (next up, somebody telling me that got 50% off all accessories or a voucher for a grand of free accessories, etc...)

All I know is what's on the preliminary order (click on link below). Looks like your pricing was EP when you add the cost of the 730N (assume that's how you got to $41,910).

Ah, that makes more sense. I saw one of those screw ups 2 weeks ago. Sticker specifically called out 430N but it had the 730N (RER) in the dash. I rechecked that sticker online 2 days ago and it's corrected in Jeep's system meaning they removed the line about the 430N but they didn't change the price.

I don't think they ran out of 430's, I think they had some leftover 730's that weren't ordered and needed to get them out of inventory before the new 730 gets phased in. Some people with builds in late November, early December got a $305 Christmas present. Then again, if I had been one of those who paid the $305 I'd be pissed.......

Re: What did you pay for Overland model with Quadra-lift

I want the following and can't find it within a 50 mile radius in Maryland (included some northern Virginia dealers in search). I don't think this is a difficult build so why can't I find one?

Overland 4x4
Mineral Gray Metallic Clear Coat Exterior Paint
Black Interior Color
V8
Off-Road Adventure II Package (not sure about this as I've read the tires on the stock 20" wheels are better in snow so this isn't a deal breaker but would like the skid plates)

MSRP is $44,960 and the invoice price I found on-line was $42,224 although the model I was shown yesterday had a lower invoice than what I found.

The closest model I found was the darker gray but it had the DVD video system which I didn't want, especially at $1.5K more. The dealer I was at yesterday thought I was crazy asking for invoice pricing. I walked. I called another dealer today and told them I wanted invoice pricing and was asked to come in to talk but it didn't appear he really wanted to give me invoice; I asked about putting in an order for one since there wasn't any stock. I'm probably not going to bother with him either.

The last five vehicles I've purchased have been at, just above or below invoice. What gives now? It's only been two dealers but my model isn't out there right now and not sure if I will find it soon enough or try and put an order in.

Anyone in Maryland have a good place that will do invoice on what I'm looking for? I'm close enough to WV, VA and PA that I'd be willing to drive there if I had to. I wish Chrysler had a better search engine besides picking 4x4 and Overland...I'm tired of weeding through all the N/A vehicles. If I build it on their website it should give me exact matches when I search.

I haven't gotten into the pricing yet but I feel your pain looking in MD. I want basically the same except Dark Charcoal and Frost interior w/o DVD. I think I will need to order. At first I was going to get the Off Road Adventure Package II so I could have the skid plates and tow hooks (although I won't be offroading, the plates will be a comfort in deep crusty snow). I just don't want the 18" wheels even if they are polished/chrome. I'm going to start talking to dealers this weekend and will keep you posted.
