Unhappy Re: What did you pay for Overland model with Quadra-lift

I'll cut to the chase. After all the bottom line.....is "The Bottom Line". Lol

Ordered today:

2011 Overland 4x4, Mineral Grey w/Light & Dark Frost Beige
5.7 Hemi (VVT MDS Group)
Quadra-Lift Air Suspension, Pano Roof etc., etc.
Quadra-Drive
Adaptive Cruise Group
730N RHR

Paid $43,206.00 Including the $780.00 Destination Charge and $75.00 TL "Administrative Fee".

Also got the "Lifetime Maxcare Extended Warranty" from the same dealer for $1,895.00!

Deal also includes the Illuminated Door Sills and Pedal Covers Installed for an additional $224.00.

They did charge me a $249.00 "Conveyance Charge" and $103.00 to transfer my plates, but then gave me a fair price on my trade, so all in all, I'm pretty happy.

After State Tax and everything else above, I'll be walking out the door $47,900.00 lighter.

What do ya think?

Re: What did you pay for Overland model with Quadra-lift

Lolol

Well according to the w2k site, $43,206 is even less than 1% below invoice for this optioned vehicle, so can't argue with that.

And $1,895.00 for the Lifetime Maxcare Warranty is less than the Chrysler warranty site is offering it for.

I'm getting the accessories at dealer cost & installed for free.

If you've got a way for me to avoid paying sales tax, I'd love to hear it.

Did you get lifetime with the $100 deductible?

Re: What did you pay for Overland model with Quadra-lift

Not sure of the deductible. I've got to go in to sign the papers. I'll check when I see him. I'm sure for $1,895.00 it's probably the highest one.

At first I was going to get the Off Road Adventure Package II so I could have the skid plates and tow hooks (although I won't be offroading, the plates will be a comfort in deep crusty snow). I just don't want the 18" wheels even if they are polished/chrome. I'm going to start talking to dealers this weekend and will keep you posted.
I picked up an '11 JGC Overland 4x4 w/HEMI, Off-Road Adventure II Package and Rear DVD Entertainment Center (didn't really want this but the only vehicle I found in three states with what I wanted besides this). I got a better price than expected and got what I wanted for my trade. Actually, this is for my wife but I spec'd it for me and really like it.

I didn't want 20" wheels because AT tires are pretty much non-existant and the touring stuff they have for that size isn't really good on snow and wet roads. This is what you get for the stock 20"s: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....utoModel=Grand Cherokee&autoModClar=Overland#

This is what you get with the 18" Off-Road package: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....ewall=Outlined White Letters&partnum=66TR8LTOWL

The 18" shown is clearly the better "stock" tire for what I mentioned before. Hopefully these tires perform decently and my wife doesn't get pissed off at me because her previous vehicle with Wrangler SilentArmors did well in snow. I just can't stand how these companies put less than ideal tires on capable vehicles.

You can configure here based on their zip: http://www.truecar.com/Jeep/Grand_Ch...?zipcode=20746

Good luck finding what you want and getting a decent deal.

Re: What did you pay for Overland model with Quadra-lift

Well, just pulled the trigger and signed the paperwork on my order:

2011 Mineral Gray Overland 4x4 with Light and Dark Frost Beige
5.7 Hemi, Quadra-Lift, Quadra-Drive etc., etc.
Advanced Warning/Adaptive Cruise
730N RHR
Lifetime Maxcare Warranty ($100.00 deductible)
Parts and Installation for Pedal Covers & Illuminated Door Sills installed prior to me taking delivery

$45,327.00 plus State Tax, Plates, DOC Fee, minus my Trade.

I'm pretty happy with the deal. The guy I dealt with seemed very well informed. Granted we all have to make a living, but at least I don't feel like a got raked over the coals.

Now the waiting begins. I was told 8 - 10 weeks. Just in time for Spring!

Re: What did you pay for Overland model with Quadra-lift

Picked up a dealer demo yesterday.

2011 Overland 4x4 Black on Black
5.7 Hemi
730N RER
$38100

Lifetime Maxcare Warranty ($100.00 deductible) - $1565

They also threw in a set of the mopar/jeep All weather mats.

1.9% financing for 60 months (which I originally thought was a salesman screw up because the jeep site says 3.9 for the overland, but our ally paper does in dead say 1.9 and the cost matches bankrates.com calcuator).

Re: What did you pay for Overland model with Quadra-lift

Sounds like a great deal. No Adaptive Cruise? How many miles were on it? 1.9 for 60 months does indeed seem impossible!

Re: What did you pay for Overland model with Quadra-lift

6k, no adaptive.
My total out the door ended up at 42,500 (including the warranty).
Also negotiated the my trade-in to about $1500 more then other 3 dealerships I looked at for total equity of 10500.
Amount financed 32000 @ 559/month.

I'm not so worried about the miles especially having talked with the owner (he drove it personally, it was not a test vehicle and was in the showroom which I believe because it had his personal information loaded, home family address ect.) and getting the lifetime maximum care warranty. Had fresh oil change and next oil change on the house, and he had 20% tint front/limo tint rear (which is a plus for me but some may not agree, though they said they would remove it if we wanted but had to sign a waiver to keep).

They have another exact same that was the owners son's vehicle, but it has 7600 and has been the "test" vehicle for at least a few of those miles.

Where did you see 3.9% for the Overland? I looked on the Jeep site and couldn't find anything.
