Oh I see. That kind of sucks for those companies who have already had prototypes drawn up.

I agree that they have to stick within their guidlines, but these engineers and designers are paid to create renderings that are unique (or at least we would hope so), so that's the only issue, why would they make them look so similar to other SUV's.

Again, I don't think they are all that bad, and it wouldn't deter me from purchasing one, I'm more or less providing the other point of view.

I agree! And even comparing it the the current WK, I think it's SOOO much better than it. To me it just just scream higher quality, inside and out.

Yea, im not sure maybe they were just being safe and thought it looked good with the design. I know when I worked on projects for companies in school during out design phase we would have to follow strict guidlines. So much input was needed from people higher up, like govt, etc. that we couldnt just go and do what we liked.

Re: What don't you like about the 2011 model or what do you think is missing?

I am actually a big fan of the new WK2. I like the attention they put into my dislikes on my current WK. (road noise and interior design being my big two) Im interested to feel if there is a big difference from the 3.7 to the 3.6. Even though when I purchase my next jeep it will have the HEMI.

I do have dislikes as well but I think it will just take some getting used to. Im sure i will like it even more when I park next to one and actually see the differences in person compared to the WK

I think the interior overhaul is going to be a big selling point for them. The cheap plastic interior on the current WK's really sucks... along with the seats.

Re: What don't you like about the 2011 model or what do you think is missing?

I hate the fawking seats on the current WK supposedly it's leather but whenever I sit in my moms acura tsx or my pops a6 haha leather my fawking ass looool

my gf's 03 vw beetle has better leather seats than mine ...

going back to thread topic ...

I guess the most thing I would dislike about the WK2 is nothing loool

If I ever get one I will shave the Rear Hatch Lights off. Other than that I actually like it.

Re: What don't you like about the 2011 model or what do you think is missing?

how much hp and tq does the 3.7 have? The 3.6 is 280 hp and 260 tq. I hink it would be a huge upgrade over the ccurrent 3.7

Re: What don't you like about the 2011 model or what do you think is missing?

stock 3.7 has 210hp and 235tq. 3.7 has SOHC and the 3.6 will have DOHC. I mean its a completely different engine but im curious to see how it feel cause isnt the new WK2 heavier? So yea it might have more HP and TQ but what will the added weight do to slow it down
