Re: What happened to the cup covers?

We had covered cup holders in the Nissan Armada that we sold for the GC. They looked nice, but the folding door ended up getting in the way of any cup with a handle (travel mugs or standard coffee cups). They even had an indention for the handle, that was then blocked by the open door.
It was clear that the door was a last minute add, and not well thought out.

I much prefer the lighted cup holders - very well done.

Re: What happened to the cup covers?

I bet the cup cover got in the way of the coin holder so it was removed from the final product.

What coin holder? You mean both were removed in the final product?

Re: What happened to the cup covers?

everything comes back to the coin-holder...

Personally, I am glad there is no door. In my experience they 1) are always open, 2) are in the way or 3) break. But, if Jeep decides to include a lid on future models the only way to go is the roll-desk style found in the Range Rover.
