I pick mine up tomorrow......Mineral Gray V6 Overland with Saddle Interior.....
Which I ordered on 1/12 and was dropped at the dealership on 2/9. I've been traveling and have not had a chance to pick up the vehicle, and wasn't looking to take delivery until the first or second week of March which is about when my current lease is up. Didn't want to have two vehicles sitting in the driveway for too long. Well, it showed up waaaaaaaaay early. The dealer offered to sit on it until closer to the end of the month, but asked that I pick up by months end. I'm sure for his "books" sake. Well I was going to pick it up this coming Friday, but I organized a bunch of travel this week in my state (will probably drive about 600 miles from Tuesday - Thursday) and decided I'd like to do it in my new GC. To answer the OP's question, it arrived at the dealership with 3 miles on the OD (so says the dealer). I pick it up tomorrow around 11:00. The best part is I also have a trip to Chicago (from Madison) planned for this coming weekend, so within a week I'll have dropped over a 1000 miles on the new beast!
And for what its worth, I initially tried to order this with Saddle, but the day I ordered, the order went in, then Jeep (I'm assuming it was Jeep, or someone responsible for the ordering process within Chrysler) contacted the dealer and told them the Saddle was on restriction. I then changed the order to the Frost Beige and low and behold a freakin Saddle interior arrived! What an awesome surprise. The dealer could not believe it either. The only comment he made was that he left a seething VM on some managers phone in Detroit (don't know if it was with Jeep or Chrysler) about several order screw ups that they had experienced lately. The only thing we can think of is that the manager took pity and made the necessary calls to get my order filled they way I requested. In any event, I'm SUPER HAPPY! I'll try and post pics later when I get the time.
