I use the backup camera for that. The lines on the display are where the tires are. The camera actually shows you the back of the bumper which is really helpful. I just wish there was a front camera or beepers.

the clarity of the camera isn't all that great for seeing the curbs, mirrors provide a better view during the day.

Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

Our driveway is pretty long (150') and at a 9-12% grade . Tilting mirrors would make going down in reverse a lot easier. My wife has ground up the sides of the lawn with her Cherokee and we'll be installing Belgian blocks in the spring. What's going to suck about that is when she scrapes the hell out of her wheels

I never liked the auto tilt down side view mirrors before either, until I got them with the back up camera. Those together are great! If I didn't have the back up camera, then I wouldn't use the tilt down feature.

Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

I don't use the auto tilt feature. The backup camera has the two lines that signify just the outside of your wheels and a small black dash in the middle to show you your center of the vehicle.

I generally don't like relying on technology when backing up because I feel safer if I know the size of my vehicle and pay more attention to my surroundings. But I have come to use the rear camera more often now just to check to see if there are any kids behind my vehicle that I can't see due to the trunk. Beats waiting and titling your head several times to make sure no one is behind your vehicle.

The tilt mirror I've never used, simply because when I am reversing (not into a parallel park) it tilts down and annoys me since I can't use it to see if anyone is coming up next to me or what not.

It's all preference though I guess. As long as you drive safely and responsibly, doesn't matter.

The only one for me was that it took months before I could figure out how to find my favorite song/artists that are currently playing when the little star is on the media center display.

Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

I just discovered that if I use the remote start and my doors are unlocked, the GC locks the doors before starting.........

Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

Anybody know what the small icon of the 3 vehicles in the upper right hand corner signifies on the 730N RHR screen? Driving me crazy...

Also, my cool find? With QL, when you're going 15mph or less you can push PARK mode and it will lower itself before you park and get out. It will automatically lift back up to enter AUTO mode when you exceed 15mph on exit. Nice.

I believe it means the system is receiving traffic data.
