I think unless it's broken the turn signal is always "lockable" - the newer models just have the extra "quick turn signal" where the signal flashes a few times if you lift up or pull down just enough without moving it on to the "locked" position.

I have a late production MY2011 and I think they took it out on mine too.

I just noticed there is a cloth string with a hook for holding up the rear hatch tire cover! I also found it in the manual but must have overlooked it the first time I read through it.

Does this on my bmw and my old Merc. This is pretty standard for luxury vehicles now. THe triple blink is for lane changing so you don't forget to turn it off by clicking it so you arent' going around the world to the left all the time.

I found out that my rear view mirror doubles as a street sign blocker because the arm on the back no longer incorporates a double ball joint. And I'm not really tall, only 6 ft. If I were, say 6'4" or so, it would double as a mailbox blocker.

I had a 05 Dodge Magnum RT for a short time back in 04 and it also had that feature. Mercedes influence for sure.

I noticed this feature as well. The double joint has become a casualty of the rain sensor.

I haven't noticed this myself. I think the rear view mirror is fine (not too big, not to small).

Of course, I've owned and been driving SUVs for the last 15 years or so.
