Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

That pumps calibration could be off. Good deal for the gas station owner till the local weights and measures guy checks it.

That was my thought too. I'd make a phone call.

Not too uncommon to squeeze almost an extra gallon of gas into the tank. You must have been running on fumes!

The literature says approximately 25 gallon tank. I've had a couple other stops real close to 25 gallons. But yes, on I was running on fumes.

The 2012 owners manual states 24.6 gallons. I once put slightly over 24 gallons in, but I think you hold the record

This is from my 2012 SRT literature. Maybe a slight difference in tank size?

Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

It is part of my emergency action plan never to let my tank go below 1/2 tank. Yeah and I've got 25# bags of rice, dehydrated vegetables, dried beans and canned fish, water filters, guns, ammo, garden seeds and secondary heat at both homes. Call me crazy but when the sh** hits the fan I'll have enough gas to get home, hole up and shoot a few zombies.

I didn't run it dry, I filled it up at half tank level (plus or minus) and it took a little over 13 gallons. That sent me to the owners manual to check out the tank capacity.
