Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

I'm surprised there's no blinding bright indicator light on the dash for when that door is open.

Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

With the 730N set on SAT mode the preset button cycles through Station Name, Artist, and Song Title. Pretty cool.

Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

Answering with a negative, all kinds of nice lighting throughout and even a flashlight, but no underhood light.

But to answer the question properly, the hook and strap to hold up the spare tire well cover was the nicest surprise that simply appeared without warning or documentation. Probably use it several times a week because we store so much stuff there. So small, so simple, so effective.

I don't recall having a strap. Where is it?

Some straps stow using Velco. Other use a snap, like mine does.

Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

Two things missing. I also would like the hood light and I would like something to hang the gas cap on when filling instead of balancing it on the lip or letting it dangle.
I also found out I hate the rat tail antenna and Jeep makes too hard a code for programmers to crack so I'm SOL for making performance mods.

Rest is all good.

On the inside of the gas filler lid, there is a little hook where you can hang the gas cap retainer on.

X2. The gas cap lanyard hangs nicely on the hook.

Found out the 430N will do that too - very cool to see what is playing at that moment on all of my presets. Curious, your 730N - is that the RER or the RHR? We had an RER in our '08 Liberty and I am sure it didn't do that.

Another cool feature I've discovered is the ability to stream audio from my phone through the AUX via Bluetooth. Streaming MP3s on my phone was cool enough, but streaming feeds from internet radio, scanner apps, whatever, is very cool. It's fun being able to drive around listening to local EMS/police/fire scanner feeds, or listening to internet radio feeds from around the world.

No way on earth will we be stuck for listening options on our next cross-country trips!

Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

Found a spot for your trailer hitch receiver in the spare tire. The hard foam piece that holds the jack has a spot on the left that is for the trailer hitch ball and receiver. No more clicking around metal to metal.
