I looked a bit closer and yes indeed it's part of Sirius. I didn't really pay attention. A few years ago I bought the Sirius lifetime subscription. So I don't don't have any monthly fees and forget it's part of Sirius/XFM.

There are two rather large storage spaces on either side of the spare tire underneath the floor panel in the rear of the JGC. A good place for jumper cables, rags, ropes, bungees, or any other stuff that you might carry with you.

It was days until I noticed the cool light projector on the ceiling console that illuminates the control panel and center console in green. That's sweet. Never had that before.

That's something that I'm sure was carried over by Mercedes-Benz. That's what they called mood lighting. It gave a sense of mood (calm) to the cabin at night.

I mentioned it to a friend at work when I was showing off my WK2 to him and he said his Honda Odyssey minvan has the same thing. What a buzz kill.

Was trying to work out what that lil thing was, is it automatically on when you put your lights on? or do you switch it on off somehow

Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

I have a question. There supposedly is a hidden cubby hole under the driver's seat (maybe for an auxilary battery?). I found the cover is near impossible to pull off. Does anyone know how to take it off? Does it slide off or is it velcroed on? Do I pull upwards or get a crow bar?

Thanks.

The key fob + windows thing is cool. I discovered it by accident. Then thought maybe I left the window on. Then confirmed it on the forum. Wonderful feature. I don't see the purpose of it to be honest but I do like the feature.

On a hot day, when the interior is 120+ degrees, you can let some of that heat out before you get in, or even close to the vehicle. I wish the 12's had that feature.
