Was it mentioned that you can play DVD movies on the center screen when the vehicle isn't moving?

Yes, the sound of the movie still plays even though the picture disappears.

430 Nav

If you tap on the jeep icon on the map, you can place a "pin" in your current location, it also gives you way-points. If you tap on the actual Map you can navigate the screen and place pins where ever you want and then have the option to get directions to the point. This may be old news for some, but just found this yesterday when i was playing around in traffic.

Volume for GPS can be adjusted "on-the-fly" (not in the setup menu) without affecting the "master" volume setting for entertainment. Just adjust up or down while you are hearing a GPS prompt (or hit "repeat"). I should probably read the manual....

I was told by the kid who prepped my Jeep at the dealership here in Connecticut that they have to disable the video playing function because it's illegal in this state. I haven't checked to see whether it works. . . or not. But if it doesn't, does anyone know how to turn it back on? I have an RHR.

Also, check out the "clips" on the sun visors that I think were intended exactly for this.

If you are referring to the doors over the vanity mirrors then I'll use the slots in the dash as I am afraid the papers would fall out or blow out the window.

No, with the visors folded up there's two little plastic "clips" that look merely decorative but are actually "paper clips". You can actually slide business cards, tickets, or whatever into them. They work like paper clips.

Son-of-a-gun! Found 'em. I really should read that manual....

I'm not sure if it's in the manual. Friend at work pointed it out to me.
