What package adds 20" wheels?

I am looking at two 2012 JGC's, one has 20" wheels the other 18". Besides that and color, they seem the same.

Just wondering what options might one have that the other doesn't.

Thanks!

Gotta know what trim you're talking about. Limited comes standard with 18" unless you select the 20" option. I believe Overland is standard with 20's but will come with 18's if it has an off-road adventure package.

Re: What package adds 20" wheels?

They are both Overlands. What is the offroad adventure package? What does it add/subtract compared to an Overland without it?

Re: What package adds 20" wheels?

This is from the 2014 listing, but it's similar or identical to the MY12 OA II

OFF-ROAD ADVENTURE II (AWY)
• 18X8.0 Polished Aluminum Wheels (WBL)
• Elec LTD Slip Differential Rr Axle (DSF) (with 3.0L or 5.7L)
• Front Suspension Skid Plate (XEU)
• Fuel Tank Skid Plate Shield (XEE)
• P265/60R18 BSW AS On/Off Rd Tires (TP5)
• Quadra-Drive II 4WD System (AWB) (with 3.0L or 5.7L)
• Selec-Speed Control (BNK) (with 5.7L)
• Skid Plate Group (ADL)
• Trail Rated Badge (MT2)
• Transfer Case Skid Plate Shield (XEF)
• Underbody Skid Plate (XF3)

Re: What package adds 20" wheels?

Thank you!

So, if I really like the 20" wheels, I could just add them later and have the best of both?

Re: What package adds 20" wheels?

You could pick some up and they fit, but it sort of limits what the off-road adventure package is capable of. Get those low profile 50-aspect 20's on some good rocks and it won't be pretty for the tire or the rim.

Personally I would go with the ORA package and keep the 18's. The extra sidewall gives better off road performance and ride comfort. The 20's are there for the bling factor which I don't really care about IMO...

I feel the same way, but I would like to be able to switch back and forth. I do like a little bling.

Vendor OE Wheels LLC here can fix you up with 20s if you do go for the OR-II.
With a set of Conti Extreme Contact DWS, or similar, I'd expect them to give you
some OR capability---and they'd be one heck of a lot more capable than the factory
"off-road" mall crawling Michelin Latitudes.

20 inchers don't seem to be that big a detriment on the Rovers.
