Below invoice is still a pretty good profit for the dealer.
The "invoice" is not the whole story on what the vehicle costs the dealer.

If you finance, they get a cut of that, either as a refer fee or commission

If you trade, 2-3K profit on a decent trade helps as well

The service department certainly helps, particularly if it is a decent one.

I priced on TrueCar, Edmunds, and a couple others I don't recall, but the very first offer I got from two local dealers was lower than any of those. Edmunds came closest, YMMV/SRA. Affiliate knocked off a bit more. Cussed out the sales manager [known him for a few years] got a bit more.

I wanted a Limited V8 with Lux II for $40K in NJ. But it's just a hassle as most dealerships won't give you offers by email, at least on my experience.

Accessfund.org. Try that as an affiliate worked great for me.

I paid $44,732. That includes ALL DEALER FEES

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland V6 (no advanced technology group) final price.

Doesn't include registration fees, tax, title, plates, sticker.

Also, the dealer couldnt come close to my credit union.... Of course recently Chrysler decided to offer better rates but not when I bought mine.

Re: What should my final price be for a 2014 V6 overland?

I'm getting ready to pick my Jeep up this morning, decided on a 2014 Overland with no options. Over the course of a few weeks, I was able to negotiate down to $43,550 and paid a $75 dealer document fee - reg, taxes and title not included.

Good luck!

Using an affiliate and the 500 bonus which came just before delivery 41,022 out the door before taxes. That's after emailing 10 different dealers and settling on the one i used. I have the 2014 overland with the advanced tech package and 20 inch rims. My chrome inserts in the grill will be installed next week as well as my break in oil change,I'm at 1000 miles after a month and a half of having the vehicle so I'll wait about another 500 miles. I have my own synthetic oil I'll bring as well as the oil filter so it should go quickly.

Sounds like a great price for an Overland with the Tech package, which if memory serves lists around 48K.

If I could ask, what affiliate did you use and what is the bonus program you speak of?

The affiliate was access.org and the bonus was 500.00 from jeep. The price of a hemi went up 500.00 but after continuous and unrelenting convo by me towards my salesman his manager signed off on the deal negotiated before the increase as I ordered just days before it went into affect and yes I also let him know I was ready to walk and take my business elsewhere if the agreed upon price before the increase wasn't met.
