I've been trying to find a used Buick Rendezvous but no luck. Nobody seems to want to sell them for the $25 I'm offering for it pending it has a full tank of gas.

I think you are forgetting about the Yugo, Pacer, and Pinto, but the others to come close

The Explorer Sport was my second choice. i actually almost bought it late in the day on a saturday from the ford dealer near my home. i had test driven both it and the JGC earlier in the day. But I'm glad i walked out of the dealership to sleep on it. went back to another Jeep dealership the next day and redrove the v8 overland and just about immediately decided it was 100% the right choice. but that explorer sport really surprised me, that turbo v6 is a spectacular performing engine.

I really hope that they do come out with the THII, and soon. Or if nothing else, at least put Blood Orange into production.

Re: What was your 2nd choice?

The GC was my second choice. I should have made it my 1st choice. Had I done that it would damn near be paid off!

Re: What was your 2nd choice?

In my case the Jeep GC was actually my 2nd or 3rd choice, but its what I went with. Originally was looking to trade my 2011 Sierra for a new 2014 Sierra, but every GMC dealer I went to wouldn't play ball. They kept low-balling me on the value of my 2011. So I actually went to a dealer to look at a Ram, but started thinking that maybe smaller was the way to go when I saw the Jeep GC. My wife has a 2013 GMC Acadia Denali (fantastic vehicle by the way), so I wasn't going to get another one of those. The Jeep dealer gave me a great value on my 2011 Sierra and a great lease price on my Overland. So here I am with the Jeep. I really like my Jeep, but in all honestly the Acadia rides better and is more comfortable.

Don't tell my wife that. An Acadia SLT was her other choice over the '14 Durango we just got.

Maybe I would've felt better about the Denali version, (our Yukon XL is Denali trim) but ouch on the pricing. It makes my wallet hurt.

The Denali version of the Acadia is real nice. Ours stickered for just above $55K and they dropped it down to $49K. My Jeep stickered for $52K and was dropped to around $47K I believe, so not that far off. Having both is great through. The Acadia can seat 7 and is the family cruiser, while the Jeep can tow the boat and is great around the tight city of Boston.

Re: What was your 2nd choice?

1st choice was a 15 Subaru Outback but waiting on the JGC diesel. Now that it is out the Overland JGC diesel is it. By the way the Outback while smaller has more rear seat room and space overall. But no diesel and blind spot sensor plus who would buy two of the same thing!!!
