Re: What would you recommend?

I am torn, I have a 2005 limited right now and it has a sunroof but i never use it. I think that now that I have a family and a child I might be better off with the dvd system, but if there will be after market system that I can install and have the command view sunroof that would be the best.

there may be Mopar headrest units? But they will probably be pricey and then install as well....

Re: What would you recommend?

I'd love the pano roof, but just like my existing sunroofs, it just wouldn't get used due to roof racks full of equipment, full on sun, or tons of snow. I realize it's bolstered with braces and whatnot, but there's also something a bit odd about an aquarium sized piece of glass covering the rooftop of an SUV. YMMV.

Meanwhile, the DVD will get us to pull off the Griswold's National Park tour of the West next summer without stopping every two hours. Then there's no peripheral gear flying about, and we control the content and amount of use from the drivers seat.

Neener, neener, neener to the guys suggesting kids they've never met are whiney brats. Careful, you might unknowingly get a booger planted in your big gulp that's sitting in the cupholder.

I just love it when couples without kids talk about how they will raise their children, and how bad other parents are. A few years later, when they are stuggling with their rug rats and doing everything they said they would never do, you just sit back, remember everything they ever said in their condesending tone, and quietly laugh at them....

Re: What would you recommend?

I am not worried about my daughter being a brat, she is great but she does tend to get motion sickness on trips over a hour. When we visited my sister this summer she had the rear DVD and my daughter loved it and she did not get motion sickness at all on the longer trips.
I guess i will just wait and see, maybe there will be something after market in a few months and then I can both.
