Just curious what people are considering buying after their Grand Cherokee.

2018 Subaru Forester H4 turbo or 2018 Subaru Outback H6, both with automatic

Next generation 2018 or 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrailHawk, but not an early build.
(I learned that lesson the hard way with my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland.)

Have you driven one? Seats suck for long drives in comparison to JGC. My mom just bought a 2017 and it's quite disappointing how uncomfortable it is after a short while...typical of Toyota and Lexus in my experience. Super quiet, though!

Depends on what is out at the time and where I am in life. Could be another Jeep, likely SRT8. Could be an Infiniti QX80. Could be a sports car.

Probably will be my 7th Jeep Grand Cherokee - Hemi or SRT or HELLCAT!!! The JGC is just the perfect size, capability, performance and luxury for me. I would like to check out the Tesla Model X first though...

Holy shit that sounds so boring. The same vehicle 7 times in a row??That probably makes me sound like a jerk, but I only ever bought the same vehicle once and after 3 months of owning the exact same newer version of what I already had owned before I was like: :slapfight:

You owe it to yourself to spice things up a bit. I'm just picturing your closet full of all of the exact same shirts for each day of the week :p

But hey if the GC is what you like then good on you! :)

It's hard to say for sure what will come after my MY12 Summit, but it will likely either be another JGC if the money is there or a Subaru Outback or the coming larger Subaru SUV. I have my youngest headed to college next fall, so it's going to be a few more years before I can even consider "what comes next".

One thing is for sure...if JGC gets the nod, it will not be another Hemi...primarily because they will no longer be available at that point and also because I will not need it at that point.

Depends on how bad they screw up the next gen GC. If they drop the Hemi and turn it into a crossover that's FWD biased, I won't be buying another one. I don't particularly like turbo V6's and having the Hemi after the 2 Pentastars...I won't be going back to one.

If not a GC, my next car will be a crew cab Ram 1500...with a Hemi :)

It's pretty much a sure thing that the Hemi is gone for the next generation platform (MY19) based on what's been posted by our insiders. The high performance option will be turbo-based. I'd be very surprised if the drivetrain was compromised based on how Jeep is marketed, however. As to the "crossover" part...the current generation is technically more of that nature with the unibody construction, etc. That doesn't matter to me based on how well JGC does what it does already.

I'm on my 5th GC since 94 and I don't expect that to change on the next vehicle.

For my wife that's a whole other story and we are all over the map. She has VW CC now.

MB, Tesla, Volt, Malibu, Left over Chrysler 200.

Id skip the Chrysler 200. My mom is leasing one now. Hers has the V6 which makes it pretty quick, but overall its incredibly small and not exactly worth it. Go with the Tesla.

This is interesting and we just went through this. So we had a 2013 Trailhawk and we were in the market for a new SUV. We really thought we were going to get a Porsche Macan.

So we headed to the LA Auto show with an open mind and kind a large range in budget. We checked out ever car companies SUV's. I mean every company.

Some of our favorites that at least got on the A list; Merc GLA I think it was (mid size SUV), Land Rover Discovery, Jaguar SUV, of course the GC. Many didn't make the list as we either liked the interior but hated the exterior or vice versa.

We ended up heading to Jeep to get the new Trailhawk. We were ready to leave Jeep but I am telling you when you evaluate the rig vs its competitors and the price for all the things we wanted you just can't even come close to the Jeep.

Have too many cars now but either a SRT or Hellcat Challenger will be the next addition to the fleet.

I just got back from the chevy dealership. Was looking at a 2017 Tahoe z71 4x4. I love the way the Tahoe looks but after riding in it and then getting into my jeep, the jeep just felt so great. It really is a great size and so many features for the price.

It's gonna be tough to get out of my gc and into a different vehicle
