What's attached to your remotes?

Mine is new, so nothing attached to the key ring yet

Re: What's attached to your remotes?

This feature could be the absolute WORST feature of the GC. It is too big to keep in your pocket without looking like you just visited the local rub-n-tug and small enough to loose in your briefcase or wherever you left it when realizing it is still in the car because the doors won't lock.
It reallly serves no purpose other than to annoy. I long for a simple steel key to start the car and go.

Re: What's attached to your remotes?

I just have a small 1.5" purble carbiner on mine. Just to give it some color so it's easy to spot when I'm looking for where I set it down.

The only other keys I carry are house and mailbox key which I keep on a separate carbiner and are kept in the center console. Can't even remember the last time I used the house key since I generally enter the house through the garage.

When we got the X3..I thought THAT was the worst key I ever saw...till we got the Jeep!

No kidding around, most of my trucks have been Fords...the absolute BEST feature ever offered in Ford products (but never adopted by anyone else) is the driver-door keypad...keys never have to leave the vehicle, just lock 'em in!

Yea, but with the WK2, you don't even need the keypad...just walk up w/ the fob in your pocket and grab the handle.

You missed my point...I would rather have no key at all in my pocket...now THAT is technology that is worth having!

Re: What's attached to your remotes?

House key and Carabiner only!

I have watched way to many horror movies where the person fumbles through 15+ keys trying to find the right one....lol.

Re: What's attached to your remotes?

Here is mine. It almost never leaves my coat pocket. In the summer I don't usually wear a coat, so I don't know where it will sit then, but probably my left front pant pocket.
