All you traitors with your imports...shame on you.

08 Dodge Avenger R/T
12 Chevy Savana (work truck)

Just kidding about the traitor comment😀
I'm only in my late 20's but I must be old fashioned because I can't bring myself to buy an import. Not cars, firearms, tools or clothes.

Let's not ruin the thread with all this name calling on different brands. I'm enjoying seeing what other people care to share. It's like grade school in here sometimes.

Re: What's your other car?

So I got taken on Craigslist. This truck is actually more of a POS that I thot. Right now I'm working on the trans, clutch, and we'll have to do some motor and brake work before I can even go get this inspected. I do have some goals though

Man I wish that was mine right now. Someone sent me that picture today off of Instagram and I've made that my ultimate goal as far as looks.

The ranger was actually twice my intended budget. So right now I have to focus on clutch and transmission parts. The motor I need to do a complete tune up along with valve cover gaskets.

I'm upgrading my clutch to a performance clutch that can handle up to 600 horsepower. I will never go that high in Horsepower with this truck but the 302 5.0 V8 out of explorers bolt right in place. So eventually that's probably what I will do.

I plan on a Hurst short throw shifter and swapping the rear drums for disc brakes.

Appearance will be the very last thing I do, and it might take a year or two in all honesty
