How do I get them off the lugnut?
use the wheel lock key to take them off. you would then need to buy a new lug nut for each wheel to replace the lock nut you took off.

Go back to dealer and see if they will give you some lug nuts. They should have plenty laying around.

Check any storage compartments. My Acura came with locking lug nuts that I didn't want. I found the original ones in the package from the locking ones. It was in a rear storage area wrapped in a cargo net. I am pretty sure they are all dealer installed. They should have left you the factory installed ones, and if not should give you a set.

Re: wheel locks?

My 2014 Limited came with locking lug nuts. I took them off immediately. I had these on my 2013 Murano and it was always a pain in the butt digging out the key every time I had it in for tire rotation, etc. Also, I don't live in an area where tires/wheels are frequently stolen.

I read someplace that it's fairly easy to remove the lock nuts even without the key. All you need to do is pound on a slightly smaller socket.

For me, it's not worth the hassle. But, it is cheap insurance if you live, work, or play in a high crime area.

Will be doing a search through the vehicle for the lugnuts. If not I'm gonna see if the dealer will throw me 4.

I get why they put the locks on but I'm not digging the look. Not that it's a major eye sore but I prefer the look without the locks.

Those things are coming off!

Thanks for the feedback and advice.

Re: wheel locks?

I put them on mine for peace of mind. I've been doing that since 1987 on every vehicle I've owned. If I stop now, you know someday I'll find my Summit up on blocks. That's if the thief is considerate and doesn't just drop it back on the ground.
