I'm glad to see:

A) the parking/marker lights are back out at the corners where they belong so they can actually mark the outer edge of the vehicle.

and

B) there's no evidence of those silly filler panels under the headlight assembly that the current higher trim levels have.

I'm disappointed to see they're still sticking with only soft buttons for the front heated seats and steering wheel with probably no front override for the rears to keep kids from fooling with them.

Didn't notice that headlights before -- that's cool! No more filler panels.

On the options comment relative to Laredo in your next post about Trailhawk, the options available are trim-level "limited"...there's a lot of stuff you cannot get on the Laredo E, for example. More available on the Limited trim. Even more on the Overland trim level. And there are some thing that are exclusive to either Summit or SRT. Most options are also not available individually...you have to pick and choose "packages" of options. That's the nature of the new car business these days. Back when my dad was ordering cars in the 1960s and early 1970s, you could pretty much build something "a la carté" with a menu of nearly anything available. Those days are, well..."back in the day"...
Again, thank you Jim in PA. I should of said - "Hopefully available" options, and yea I'm painfully aware and disappointed that those days of "yesteryear" are long gone. I was a teenager (high school grad '70). Oh how the years have so Slowly Zipped on by in a blink of an eye !

HA ! You have no idea how many times I have drooled over watching that video ! ! !
But, it's not the Laredo F and it is "not in the wild" - sitting on a dealer lot having it videos by a 3rd party YouTube-REVIEWER "gone wild"

Much Obliged just the same, thanks for taking the time.

While I certainly don't recommend it, I bought my last jeep sight unseen. A 2001 grand limited. Found it on the net while I was getting ready to transfer from Florida to recruiting duty in Indiana. Had my pops go pick it up for me and it was waiting for me when I got there. 10 years and 200,000+ miles later she's still going strong with very few problems. Granted, they were built differently back then, and the I6 was a bullet proof beast. Still love her, but she's been replaced as a daily by a 2014 limited. Now she's just gets me to work until I get her ready for some off road fun as her last hurrah.

Nice to see another person in Spokane, WA! They do exist!

I'm waiting for people to start trading in their jeeps for the 16, but it seems the 17 might be what people are waiting for. As soon as that happen I could probably snag one used.

What do you mean by "soft" buttons for the front heated seats and steering wheel, do you mean in the UConnect display under Climate?
