Where do yall stand on this?

So, for a little bit my friend and I have been going back and forth on what every garage should have in it for doing work on your rig.. A few parameters: enjoy doing diy projects (wrenching on your rigs or bikes only) and be somewhat of a gearhead. We both agreed on the assumption that you have the money to have someone else do the work, but take pride in doing it yourself.

For starters, I said: a floor jack, jack stands, and magnified wand. Obviously a full tool set everyone can agree on...

What do you guys have that not everyone would think of, but should have?

High lift floor jack.. Jack stands.. wand is a good one.. a flexible grabber too.. vise grips... breaker bar.. a range of extensions.. 2 torque wrenches one for smaller lbs and then the other for the bigger lbs .. a pipe or something similar for more torque on wrenches.. Maybe a blow torch for rusted bolts.. cans of PB blaster and a can of wd40.. oil pan.. razor blades for cleaning old seals off.. Assortment of cleaners.. wire bush.

Sockets should be 6 and not the more standard 12 sided.. deep and short too..

Pb blaster is the absolute best for getting though rust.. Nothing beats that stuff..

As for a blow torch.. I can fully admit I'm too jv for that

Re: Where do yall stand on this?

a cut off tool could be handy, either electric or air driven. Also, I've found a Dremel comes in handy.

LOL! With an average of 80" of snow annually and two RWD vehicles that have to be stored during the winter, a lift is almost mandatory. A good air compressor gets my vote for most important accessory.

My number 3 thing which really becomes number one if you need it is some kind of strong reliable generator.
