Re: Where Is Your Trashbag?

Ya know, I know of nobody that would do that.

I must admit, i'm pretty retentive about the rig. As an example, a rainy Sunday morning, what am I doing, driving around looking for a high powered car wash vacuum that I could use bc I got sesame seeds on the floor (in between the seats).

OCD comes to mind.

I ask him, "what are you doing with the stuff your scratching off"? He says, "I'm putting it on the floor." I was like... "save the rest till you get home, I just vacuumed".
Of course the wife gave me a dirty look and I told her when we got home that when she starts vacuuming the Jeep then her Father can put his garbage on the floor.

Well it wasn't really an argument since she doesn't want to clean the Jeep then whoevers in it has to follow my cleanliness rules. All she had to say was, "thats ok scratch your tickets and I'll vacuum it up when we get home." But thats not gonna happen.

Actually, I did the right thing for the parents when I was at their house, I went to get some fresh bagels for them. Low and behold, there was a hole in the bottom of the bag and I didn't notice it until I heard the sesame seeds hitting the cup holder as I was getting in the driver seat (swinging the bag over the arm rest to put it on the floor by the passenger seat). Then, immediately, I let out a good ol' "WTF". Then off to the car wash to use their vacuum.

But curious as to where do you have your trashbag setup in the cabin? On old vehicle, I was able to hang a grocery bag off the auto stick and have it hanging into the passenger side feet area.

Can't do that with JGC. I was looking for some stick on hook that would blend in with the black interior, but no luck. What do you guys use?

Check your local supermarkets, stores etc.
You can usually find one of those cloth or "mystery material" bags with
longer handles that you can hang off the gear selector and drape on your
wife's side of the vehicle. Unless your wife is driving of course.

Re: Where Is Your Trashbag?

I throw away the usual receipts, bottles, cans , candy wrappers, etc. I can't stand people eating messy food in my car. It's a nono.

Re: Where Is Your Trashbag?

Everybody uses their vehicle as they see fit and nobody should tell them to do any different. I keep my Jeep pretty clean, inside and out. It has never seen a car wash, I do it myself. But, it is a utility vehicle.

When I'm on a long drive I have soda, coffee, or water in the cup holders. That's what they are there for. If I'm on the beach fishing or in a field or woods taking pictures, I eat lunch sitting in the front seat. Garden 'stuff' get thrown in the back just like (when luck is with us) coolers of dead fish.

The inside of the Jeep isn't any harder to clean than the inside of your house, and I don't even want to know what y'all do inside your homes.
