I would never take ours off road. It would get all dirty and scratched up.

ROFL!

I have to say that I have snacked in my GC, but never really eaten a meal (because I'm usually driving). My passengers have, but then you just wad up the wrappers and stick them back in the bag sitting on the floor and throw it away at your next stop (NEVER out the window!).

Tissues? I keep those small travel packs in the upper section of the center console and if someone uses one, they tuck it in their pocket until the next stop.

That said, I've owned mine now for 16 months and people get in and still comment that it smells and looks 'new'. So I must be doing something right.

My now 1.5 month old limited didn't have much "new car smell". I don't even notice it now. Could be I'm used to it or it burned out those senses. I was kind of glad and sad. It's generally not good to breath because it's plastics and glues out gassing that gives a good part of that smell.

I think it still is outgassing because inside of windshield keeps getting dirty fast which is what the out gassing often does and condenses on the glass.

What do you think I have the Jeep for? Getting Milk and going to the Mall?

Hadn't really thought about it. But, giving some thought to it, it occurs to me that shopping at a mall with an attached grocery store might help cut down on the odometer reading.

Re: Where Is Your Trashbag?

I have on the garage wall and since installation my vehicles have never looked nicer.

Hoover® GUV™ ProGrade Garage Utility Vacuum

I am not anal about the food and drink in the car but when we get home it is expected that the person who ate/drank cleans up after themselves. EVERYTIME!

Re: Where Is Your Trashbag?

Roy Rogers Show was on this morning. Nellie Belle (the Jeep) didn't have a trash bag, it was the trash bag.

But like many of these old shows they had messages to carry us through life. If I had remembered this line from when I was a kid I never would have bought a Jeep.

Roy tells Bullet (the dog) to go with Pat (the side kick) in case the Jeep breaks down. He says the dog might have to push the Jeep.
