Where Is Your Trashbag?

Got my very first Jeep. 1st "domestic" brand. '14 Limited V6.

But curious as to where do you have your trashbag setup in the cabin? On old vehicle, I was able to hang a grocery bag off the auto stick and have it hanging into the passenger side feet area.

Can't do that with JGC. I was looking for some stick on hook that would blend in with the black interior, but no luck. What do you guys use?

I have a nylon trash bag from walmart hanging on the back of the passenger seat. Cost about ten bucks.

Re: Where Is Your Trashbag?

I have a lined canvas trash container that sits on the hump just in front of the rear seat...the same one I've been using for 3-4 vehicles now over a decade. It has hook/loop on the bottom so it sticks to the carpet. I've never been a fan of free-swinging bags, personally.

My old 4 runner actually had a factory installed garbage bag holder (not kidding).

Re: Where Is Your Trashbag?

A bt confused. Both front seats on my 2014 Overland have two hooks above the mesh that hold plastic grocery bags for trash. You don't have the hooks?

The abbreviation for "bit" is "bt"? Come on now.

Re: Where Is Your Trashbag?

I have a grocery bag hanging from the door of the glove compartment. When it gets bulky (about halfway), remove and replace.

I can't imagine keeping a trash bag in a car. Trash is promptly discarded after every drive. Temporary storage only in the floorboard (eg drive thru bag) but again discarded after every drive.

That's what I do. But I sure wish they had a nice place to tuck it, mean while. I tend to use the cup holders and passenger floor.

The "Clip-On" folks should divest and come up with a unique solution for each car

I can never find a good spot for a Kleenex Box either and usually gets destroyed before it's half empty.

Re: Where Is Your Trashbag?

We don't need a trash bag. We just don't bring trash in the Jeep. No eating or scratch tickets allowed in the Jeep. Having a trash bag in the Jeep just doesn't look good. Might as well put a garbage barrel or mini dumpster in the back area.
