Smile Which Equalizer Bar is best choice

I have a 2014 GC 5.7L, V-8 hemi 4x4 with the factory installed Group IV Tow Package. This vehicle has a tow capacity of 7200 lbs.

I just purchased a 4700 lb (dry weight) trailer. My question is about what equalizer (weight distributing) hitch should I buy?? The sales guy recommended a E2 which he said should be fine. He also mentioned a heavier duty one which I think he said was an E4 or EQ. Not sure of the terminology of these hitches. Anyway, at only 4700 lbs dry, and maybe 5500 fully loaded, can someone help me with determining what type of equalizer hitch I should buy please?
Thank you

Re: Which Equalizer Bar is best choice

I like the Reese SC that my daughter has on the pony hauler... she had chosen a different setup, but the geometry of the trailer was not compatible with most (there was a crossmember for the jack where the chain mounts needed to be)..

Very important that you get the correct tongue-weight rating on the hitch (bigger is not better), and get it set up properly.. which probably means getting whatever hitch setup the service dept at the dealer is used to working with.
