Re: Which running boards to you like better?

Hi, first time poster here.

I got my '14 Laredo E (True Blue) last month and I've been looking everywhere for classy looking running boards to no avail. I have two toddlers that have trouble getting in and out so I need something broader and sturdier than nerf bars. I'd love something along the lines of the Escalade boards but imagine I'd have to go custom for those. Anyway, I think the first ones are the closest thing I've seen so far to what I'm looking for. Hopefully they verify the fit for the '14s rather soon since my kids seem to always put their feet right on the molding that says "No Step". so, my vote goes to the first ones.

First, welcome aboard. I am new to this forum as well (only been here about a month) and everyone is extremely helpful and friendly.

Secondly, I am leaning towards the first ones too and will be buying/installing them this weekend. Pictures will surely follow otherwise I will get chewed out by the guys on the forum...

Additionally, I am going to reach out to the vendor and ask if they will fit the 2014.

So, I spoke to the vendor after she spoke with the manufacturer and they are not confirming yet that they fit. Which means, they probably haven't tried to mount them, so, they are not confirming proper fitment. If and when they do get back to her, she will let me know either yay or nay.

Re: Which running boards to you like better?

Here is the picture of the second ones from Australia eBay. I'm pretty sure both are Winbo from China. I've ordered the second set from SUV Warehouse but haven't installed them yet. Honestly, still trying to figure out how mount the brackets (remember - instructions from China)

No doubt. Thats why I asked her to call the manufacturer to find out what was good. If the info changes from "we don't know if it fits" to "we know it fits", this is the first place I will go.

Re: Which running boards to you like better?

Just installed these today. So far, I like the look, but wish they tucked in a little more. There are a lot more pics here:

Looks great. I got the other kind (no dots on the step, just flat black). How hard was the instillation? I took a quick look at it and it seems I need to remove the bottom black brow (under the doors) to get to attached the brackets more easily.

What say you?

Oh, and looks great.

Re: Which running boards to you like better?

subscribed! I have been looking into running boards as well for the past month or so. I originally liked the WINBO ones on ebay but only knew of the Aus site, not US. This is great news.

I was about to pull the trigger on some Romik running boards but will look into these some more. No one here has really posted pics of the Romik boards on their ride, so thanks to you both chunderboy and mwhited!
