White Rim Road

I got to take my '14 on its first off-road adventure since buying it a year ago. I was very pleased with how things went. It handled the ~100 miles with ease. We encountered a little bit of everything (mud, sand, rocks, fairly steep inclines) though none of the obstacles would be considered extreme. I would HIGHLY recommend this trail to anyone as it is full of spectacular, 360 degree views the entire way.

That picture on the right could be used in the actual Jeep brochure; it's a really great shot.

Re: White Rim Road

Roki, the Jeep handled everything really well. No wheel spinning or bottoming out. I kept it in the intermediate QL setting for most of the time. I never had to raise it the highest setting.

Re: White Rim Road

did you have to engage 4-LO, and/or Hill Control? What setting did you dial your Selec- Terrain controller?

Re: White Rim Road

Very nice, thanks for sharing, I liked most the first one, with the JGC climibing up and the wonderful landscape in the background.

Re: White Rim Road

I used 4LO on some of the steep, exposed descents. I never really needed it while ascending. I tried Hill Descent once or twice but it descended way too slow, though there is probably a way to adjust that. I never really played around with the Selec Terrain. I should probably read my manual and other info out there so I can get the most out of the features.
