I am in a very similar situation. I too drive a lot for business and the ride of the Overland was outstanding. I never considered a lower model. Actually debated between the Overland and the Summit. My company pays for my vehicle so money was not too much of an issue. In the end I purchased new a 2011 Overland and have loved every one of the 68,000 miles I have put on my Jeep.
By the way, this was my first Jeep. I traded in a Porsche Cayenne S for the Jeep and can honestly say the Jeep is the best SUV I have owned. In a few years I plan to get another Grand Cherokee Overland, or whatever they name the model at that time.
