I think you should trade in that piece of crap tomorrow. I can't believe you continue to put up with this. I would get rid of it immediately at any cost and buy something non Jeep and start complaining on those forums.

First off let me tell you that I used to consult with car dealerships, I implemented customer retention systems that helped dealers drive sales customers to service and turn service customers into sales and keep them there. I've done that for dozens and dozens of dealers of all makes. I know what I'm talking about.

Yes dealers get paid less to do warranty work. But they get paid NOTHING for turning you away and not fixing your vehicle. Dealers are in the business of making money, not turning away paying customers.

They want to do your warranty work. In fact just last week I had a guy tell me when he had to order parts for a warranty repair "I wish I had these parts now, I'd love to do it and get paid for it before the end of the month".

And yes, the Service Depart often does care where you purchased your vehicle. I had a nice chat with the Service Manager about this. I complained to him about the Service Advisor telling me to bring my vehicle to the purchasing dealer. He told me that the owner of his dealership encourages them to send away customers with problematic vehicles that aren't purchased there.
Total bullshit, and it makes no sense. The dealer wants your business now, whether you bought the car there or not. They want your service business and they want to sell you the next car. I know they want to do that because they paid me tens of thousands of dollars to help them do it.

No sane business would turn your PAYING business away because you did not patronize them in the past. They want to capture your business for the future.

What dealers DO actually do is identify customers who cannot be satisfied and turn them away. Perhaps that's what you're seeing.

And as for my attitude---did you read what I wrote? My dealership experience started off fantastic. No attitude from them and certainly none from me. It was only after they started in with the "go bring it back where you purchased it" and then the "nothing is wrong with your vehicle" BS that I copped an attitude. So there goes that theory, huh?
Like I said, dealers identify customers who do not want to be satisfied. Go to another dealer.

Sure, easy to say. Sell it. Lose lots of money. Move on. Funny thing is that I just might do that. I don't want to piss away that much money so early on. Maybe I'll just let them keep trying to fix it and eventually lemon law it. Or maybe I'll just dump it and move on. Or maybe they'll actually fix it and I'll drive it for the remainder of the 3-year warranty before I sell it. That's my choice....my decision, not yours.
If you don't want our comments or feedback, STOP POSTING YOUR COMPLAINTS ON A PUBLIC FORUM! Try writing in a diary.

Look, I get it...I've been there. But, like I said before this forum is not a platform for you to complain about e same shit all the time. There's nothing anybody here can do for you..
