Why the Difference

I was watching a video review of a 2014 GC SRT. I noticed that in the Uconnect system, it had 3 boxes that could be checked under the "Auto On Comfort" title. This is for the heated/ventilated drivers seat and steering wheel. It showed 3 boxes that could be checked. Off, Remote Start and All. I have the latest 13.48.3 on mine and my dealer did the latest updates and recalls a few weeks ago and mine only offers the option to turn on/off the comfort option. So is there a later update?

My November build has off, on, and remote start. I don't have the latest update either.

I guess mine is to old (03/13) to have that feature. I also noticed that the background color is a nice blue compared to mine which has yellow.

My December build used to have it until I upgraded to uConnect 13.48.3. Now it's just a single checkbox, and there is no mention of remote start. I am guessing they removed the feature. Perhaps people can try loading the revision released prior to 13.48.3 to see if the "remote start" option is present.

There's a TSB Auto Comfort feature Always Defaults On In Cold Weather
at Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 - Grand Cherokee Service Bulletins and Recalls

I'm wondering how this could affect the UConnect settings...

Thanks for the thought, but that TSB is for vehicles without remote start. Besides, my vehicle has no trouble turning the brain-damaged "auto on comfort" feature on or off.

In my case, the vehicle *used to* have three options in the settings: off, remote start, or all. After I upgraded to a later firmware it is just a simple on/off checkbox (i.e. no "activate only on remote start" option like it used to have).
