My wife is looking at a 17 Grand Cherokee I know nothing about or1 or2 quadra lift what are option you wish you got or didn't get

Quadra Lift is what Jeep calls the air suspension optional in the limited, and standard in the Trailhawk, Overland, and Summit.....there are other special edition models that the Quadra lift is optional or standard.

OR1 or OR2 refers to the air suspension adjustable heights. There are 5 heights.
Entry height this is the lowest setting and will raise if you exceed 15 MPH,
Normal ride height normal height the suspension operates at until 53 MPH or so,
Aero will lower .6 inch below Normal ride height at hwy speeds,
OR1 or Off road 1 will raise the vehicle 1.2 inches over normal ride height will lower at 45 MPH,
OR2 or off road 2 will raise the vehicle approx 2.6 inches over normal ride height, will lower at 25 MPH.

Hope this helps.

You'll have to see what matters to you and go from there. I love the Panoramic dual pane glass roof, and i'm very pleased with the V6. I love the Trailhawk package but i use my Jeep to go off road quite a bit....

Ok thank thanks she has some requirement which are remote start and heated seats mine are 4x4 or all wheel drive and tow hitch I have a sport S Wrangler unlimited. Is the 8.4 or what ever screen worth the extra or base radio we plan on using it for trips it's me and my wife a 3 year old with baby due in end of October

Quadra-Lift's benefits are adjustable ground clearance and a comfortable ride. The costs are weight, complexity, and a higher price. I am satisfied with Quadra-Lift. I did extend the factory warranty because repair and replacement of Quadra-Lift is very costly. I'd order Quadra-Life again if I should buy another Grand Cherokee, a topic for another discussion.

I have the 8.4 radio but I did not get the optional Navigation, The Trailhawk has the 8.4 and tow package, 4x4 Quadra Drive 2 system, Quadra lift suspension, heated seats/wheel, and cooled seats all standard. I think the remote start was standard, I have it but i don't remember if it was standard or part of the Trailhawk Lux group.....

I would say the off road package is worth it, but I use my Jeep to explore and camp and go off road......the skid plates and other off road goodies i get use out of and find well worth it for my uses.....YMMV

On my first (2012) WK2 I tried to be "frugal" and got a Limited with the tech package but no offroad package and no sunroof. Goodies were nice; I really liked the adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring. But after the lease was up I got a 2014 Overland fully loaded. Love the air suspension, the skid plates give me confidence offroad, my kid loves the glass roof, etc. The goodies make the payment higher, plus I bought it vs leased, but it's on autopay and I don't regret any of the options I chose.

Now I'm confused - my 2015 Limited has the Off Road Adventure 1 package (which I thought just added low range, two hooks and skid plates - and the ability to select your terrain mode). As far as I know it's not lifted in any way. Am i mixing up terminology between OR1 and Off Road Adventure 1?

OR1 is a setting in the Quadra Lift system.....Off Road Adventure Package 1 is an option group. they are not related.

Heated and ventilated seats and remote start are standard on the Trailhawk. The only 2 options on mine that I bought were the powered sunroof and the 8.4 Nav. Power folding mirrors are also standard.

Sunroof was a requirement of my wife and as well as no black, grey, granite, etc colors. Had to be a bright color. My requirements were selectable transfer case and factory tow. QL was a want but I could have lived with steel springs.

The Trailhawk had all and more. An Overland would have worked but IMHO, the Summit had too much on it.

If you talk her out of a Laredo then you will find the Trailhawk is actually cheaper than a Limited with the extra goodies. The Altitude package seems to be missing some of the additional niceties but you can get the sunroof and MaxTow.

The red highlighted black badges look really good too.

Yeah, I understand that. I had an issue paying over $40K for a vehicle too. You should be able to better than sticker price but it's still going to be in the $40K range, plus or minus a grand or so.

And honestly, worth it. They are very nice vehicles.

Thread is from 2017 so the OP has undoubtedly made a decision, but yes, pre-owned is a good option for those who are uncomfortable with what new costs these days.
