The Bumper Shield XL is compatible with the sonar/ParkSense, if that's what you mean. The sensor system works just fine; no interference. You can see it sticking out of the bumper in the field of view of the backup cam, but that's nothing to be concerned about.

I used two of the additional rubber spacers that shipped with it, which made having a locking hitch pin essentially superfluous because with two additional spacers in place I had to use ratcheting tie downs to compress it into the hitch far enough to be able to slip the pin across. There's no way this thing will rattle now, and no one is going to be able to pull it off manually. Without the additional spacers it slips right on by hand.

So a rear bar won't block the sensors. Still trying to see if someone has something installed in the front that won't block the sensors and camera.
