I found this regarding the billet silver metallic color. It's from a 2012 picture of a Rubicon. It looks like a flat battleship gray to me. Not sure if this would be the same color for the GCs or not.

True. We need Deep Molton from the Durangos. That's a sweet color.

Interesting color. Now, if they really discontinue Mineral Grey, this could be the closest color as far as a replacement goes.

EXACTLY!!! DODGE has way better color selection available. I think for the GCs they try to be a little more bland to try and market to the "older" crowd. Well, this older crowd that wants to buy the GCs isn't "over the hill old" and we like fun, dammit!

Pat,

Thanks for the clarification. It seems to be the same picture I was able to find. When you hear any other rumors on what other colors might be available would you please post? Thank you very much!

I will but you know Milous gets all that info before me. For some reason I just imagine Sergio and Milous walking thru the design center up to the color room, smoking and talking about their favorite red wines. And after that Milous, Sergio and Manley go for a long walk around Chryslers proving grounds talking Jeep stuff. They hug, shake hands and go their separate ways until next month when they do it all over again.
How else does Milous get all the info years ahead of the rest of us?

I love it. Any dark color will not hide dust dirt as well as a lighter colored car like silver/gray. I'm very ocd about having a clean car at all times and this color is not anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be to maintain. It's more work than a silver or white car, but nowhere near black. The metallic flake in the sunlight is great too.

Hehe, now that the cat is out of the bag... I need to score a couple more bottles of Brunello di Montalcino before our October meeting!

Any chance you guys will give me the credit for the Altitude/S-Limited idea and a nice special huge cash back on a future Grand Cherokee or something? I can hope...

Thanks Pat and 4Jeep for the Billet Silver Metallic picture. Billet is not very silver IMO. I much prefer Bright Silver Metallic so I'm glad I bought mine when I did if this is replacing it.
