I didn't think that was normal. Shouldn't there be some piece to stop it from rusting or something.

Re: WK2 Altitude Edition pictures and questions!

Yeah maybe you just notice it more since you have white paint? Its normal and should not rust.

Re: WK2 Altitude Edition pictures and questions!

Thought this would be the best place of any to post this question.

I am wanting to upgrade the headlights on my 2015 Altitude but I am getting a bit confused the more I read. Do we need to do a full HID upgrade kit on the Altitude or can we just buy the HID bulb? These are the bulbs I was going to buy but now I'm not sure what to buy. I called XenonDepot and they couldn't help me due to it being a 2015 and not knowing if we have HID or Halogen bulbs.

D3S - Philips 6000K Ultinon 42403WX Bulb

Thanks for the help.

Re: WK2 Altitude Edition pictures and questions!

I believe you can just do the bulb but you have to have a transformer inverter or something somewhere. Its not just plug in and go. It's kind of something we looked at but was too much to figure out for the time being. Look around the visual part of the WK2 forumn and/or do a search for it. Its come up quite a bit.

Re: WK2 Altitude Edition pictures and questions!

All you need is the ballast and bulb. It's plug and play. You just need to find a place to mount the ballast. There is a write up here somewhere.
