Exclamation WK2 Altitude Edition pictures and questions!

Post pictures of your WK2 Altitude Edition or ask anything related to this specific trim level.

I can't post any picture yet cause I'm still between the Bright White or Granite Metallic or 4x4 vs 4x2...(I don't want buyers remorse later on) but I have a couple of questions since this is gonna be my first Jeep (First SUV as a matter of fact)

1. How hard is to maintain the black rims from swirl marks and rock chips?

2. You guys choose 4x4 or 4x2? Since the Latitude edition does't come with the terrain select feature (don't know the exact name) at this point of my research I don't know what more benefit I can get other than have all wheel drive and is more expensive and less MPG.

3. How good is the standard 6 speakers audio system? Should I add the 9 speakers option on the new 2015 model? Made by Alpine right?

Thanks for the feedback guys!

I think you mean Altitude. The Latitude is a Cherokee model.

Re: WK2 Altitude Edition pictures and questions!

I say white but I might be biased in that regard.

The black wheels are still spotless on mine but I've only washed it once and it has ~1300 miles on it so far. I don't foresee it being a problem.

As for 4x4 or not, that depends a whole lot on where you live. After the brutal winter we had in the NE it'd be a hard decision to go with 4x2 just to save a little money.

Stock system seems fine to me. If I turn it up my sideview mirrors become blurry and useless. I think that's good enough lol.

WK2 Altitude Edition pictures and questions!

If you're northeast, do the 4x4, as everyone is saying we're going to get slammed again.

As for color, I love the white and every time I see one I wish I did a white overland instead of black limited.

My 9 speaker sounds a lot better than my friends 6.

In the doors and above the plate. Not in the overhead, which sucks. I have a Feb 2013 build

Re: WK2 Altitude Edition pictures and questions!

I think the 'murdered out' black on black is the way to go personally. I'd go 4x4 if you get a lot of snow; that's a no brainer. Can't comment on the rims but I will find out this coming winter. Hopefully they hold up. It's an awesome truck. I have ionic running boards and a black honeycomb grille insert being installed tomorrow. It will complete my look. If you are set on your two color choices I would go white but both colors are great. I just really like the black paint and the overall package just seems more seamless with the black.

Re: WK2 Altitude Edition pictures and questions!

I like my black on black. I've only had it for a week though. I would definitely go 4x4 since we get a decent amount of snow.
