Re: WK2 and dogs?

A word of advice to folks if you have a dog or are planning on getting one bring your crates with you when you vehicle shop at the very least and see if they fit in the back of the vehicles you are considering. Now my my siblings and my friends we bring the crates and the dogs along and if the dealership doesnt like it then they dont get our business. If my dogs dont like the vehicle I am considering then we dont get it.

That's a somewhat valid point. Although if I were to buy a vehicle only to fit his crate then I'd be stuck with nothing but a suburban. His crate fits closed (compacted) which is what I do when we travel so he has his safe haven wherever we go. But to base a purchase on solely his xlarge crate fitting is not smart. We just have to come to the best options for transporting him and the stuff, whether that be roof top carriers for luggage, etc. And I believe posts like this help in choosing what options work best for that specific vehicle.

However that being said, the Jeep was bought so we could have an SUV that could be more pet friendly opposed to a sedan.

Dogs and human travel safety is number one.
