The driver plays a huge role at the track and you would absolutely see different times out of different driving styles/techniques - even in an auto. It's all about how quick you get off the line so if he just waited for the light and then punched the gas he gave up a lot of time on the start which translates into a lower top speed and slower time when he crosses the line.
Epoche was obviously there to watch the SRT's and just did a run for fun so I think some people are taking his time too seriously. Had he been there to race himself and was concerned about things like shutting off the A/C, Brake Launching, using the tow/haul, etc he could have easily reduced his time.
You also need to take into account altitude, temperature on that given day, if the Jeep is running at 100% and the list goes on and on. So many variables.
I'm not saying its a race car by any means but clearly the 5.7 is capable of faster times. Mototrend and others all have it tested at 15.4
