Re: wk2 Grand Cherokee Off Road Videos

Hi there,

That is 100% standard, no lift or springs, only thing I do when offroading is changing wheels and use 18's instead of the 20's it came with.
Wheels and removing lower fascia..so far never any damage..lets hope to keep it that way..but I am of the idea thats things are to be used, so if something ever happens...I'm sure somehow it can be fixed, in the meantime let the good times continue.
Rgds.

Sorry...the person that took the pic didnt have one with all four off the ground, she said she saw it...but didnt catch it !..

How hard did I bottom out ?...I really cant tell, I guess it wasnt too bad or I would remember it, basically I was climbing a big sand dune and was concentrated on getting to the top, there were some casual jumps but not that I intended on purpose, the idea was to climb the dune and not specifically jump it.
Here is a video that some day on another dune climb.
Rgds.

Well I'm pretty sure you would have bottomed out stock but in the sand it might not feel too bad. Its still pretty easy for me to bottom out the backs with .75" TJ spacers which is why I ordered OME lift springs which are going on today I would think it would be in better to have 2" more of up travel or so if you are going to be catching air. Also a lot of dampening and maybe stiffer springs would be a good thing too. Glad to see the wk2 can handle some air stock though.
